I’ve been a professional writer for all my life, working on local newspapers in my home area of Camden in north London and also in east London and Essex.

After working in commercial journalism for a few years I came to the Tesco press office 16 years ago and have since spent most of that time specialising in proactive food PR, using my journalistic skills to find interesting stories about new products, trends, suppliers and our own food developers.

Other than writing and my family my main passions are music, sport and of course food and I consider myself fortunate to be able to make a living combining two of those.

I live in Hertfordshire and am married with an eight-year-old daughter who is equally interested in food, especially ice cream and chocolate.
